We're sitting here at the airport, waiting to head out for our first trip to TTR! And we just realized we forgot to pack our Bubba Mugs (which we just bought last night), our toys and a small beach bag..... Nothing major that we can't work around, but still a little disappointment. What have you bought/gathered for a trip that you then forgot to throw in the bag?
I didn't forget the stuff at home, but I did forget some important things one time...half of my clothes. Normally we completely unpack and get organized as soon as we get into the room (before all the stupidity begins). Well during the soft opening things were a bit all over the place and our room situation wasn't ideal. Long story short this involved us not really unpacking. On to the next day, but by the time the room was moved we were half in the bag. I ended up not fully unpacking a suitcase and then putting it out of sight. As the week progressed I keep looking for things I could have sworn I packed, and ended up having to recycle some of my bathing suits and nighttime clothes. I just kept kicking myself for leaving tons of stuff at home. Well upon check-out I found all my missing stuff, neatly folded right where I left it in my 2nd suitcase. A word to the wise, unpack before party time and debauchery begins...because it pretty much doesn't end until your on your way home.
one year I left all my glow paint at home I was super bummed and lube .. left that at home once to but that was an easy fix
Under ware but it wasn't really necessary. Toys one time also now that was necessary. Luckily there was a fun store near to adequately fulfil our needs.
Have forgotten the odd thing (by which I mean I always forget at least one thing!). For the last trip purchased numerous things online that didn't arrive on time. So I just figure they'll be all brand new for next trip!
Over the years I have put together a great check list for TTR while packing. I love my lists, they include everything I need for the designated theme nights as well!
We’ll be there Saturday. I’d offer to bring stuff you forgot, but no idea what Toys you’d need us to bring - with all the cold/snow in Iowa, all the stores might be all sold out... lol
After year one, we made a list and just keep adding to it.. funny we never push "cash" on the list. And one year we left the envelope FULL of cash home.. had all the right amount of bills for tips and paying for things that need cash..
But there is a couple on here that got to the airport only to find out their passports were expired.... man that story got my attention and i keep track of it like 3 times a year... lol
