We are given a week from wife’s parents every year to use their RCI points. So far we’ve used it for breathless cabo and Cancun. Breathless determines their all inclusive fee by room type. Does Temptation do this as well? On RCI’s website it says the room is “hotel”. I’m assuming there’s a possibility to upgrade the room? Can anyone confirm? Is it even worth it to use RCI or just find a deal through one of the many sites listed throughout the forum? Keep in mind there’s about a $200 fee for our “Guest” certificate and transfer fee of like $50. Thanks! Oh and I tried searching but didn’t come up with much. One tip if you’re searching the forum for words with fewer than 4 characters is to just put an asterisk on the end. I.E. RCI is zero results, but RCI* produces results.
We’ve looked into it before, we have the same deal through family. When i looked on the RCIwebsite it listed the “resort fees” after we selected the room. I want to say there was a link or tab that you could view what the all inclusive fee is. Sorry im not more help. It’s been a while since I’ve looked into it.
On their info it’s saying hotel is $95 a night for AI fee. Searching further on the forum I see people getting flights included for not much more booking with 3rd party sites. I’ll have to wait as we are planning for spring break again and the dates aren’t available on the sites yet. Booking early this year instead of 3 weeks before our trip like I just did.
