booking flight and hotel separately

I have been watching all the discount sites for packages to Temptations and nothing seems a great deal.

I can book the room and all inclusive through alpharooms and a flight through Transat for around $400 cheaper.

Am I missing something or is this the way to go?

 

Jump on it. I have been going for years and the prices don't tend to fluctuate too much.

 

Last year we used SKoosh for the room and booked air separately. We saved a bunch of money. However, this year it looks like Expedia might win.

At one time last year it looked like alpharooms was blacklisted from TTR. However now it looks like they are offering rooms again. Maybe just not as cheaply. $1700 for a 9 night stay in april nest year.

I looked on alpharooms for a friend to go early december and they quoted 600 usd for 7 nights all inclusive with taxes for 1 person, no single supplement for superior room........ bargain... Temptation site came out over 1000 usd for the cheapest room

 

Totally have booked seperate every trip I take! Shopping for the best deal is one of my favorite parts (before)... well I suppose I love shopping for sexy clothes... then trying them on for Rick... then getting my liver ready for the 7 days of drinking like it is the air I need to breath... then... the pre-s.x??? Oh.... boy I think I'm getting excited for all the fun !!

I checked the flight and the room at least 4 times this morning to make sure eveything was looking right.

I then pulled the trigger and went and booked the flight, I go in to book the room on Alpharooms and Temptations isnt listed on there at all any more, no availability for any dates.

Sure hope it is a temporary glitch

 

OK resolved Im a dumbass

I somehow had 2 adults....and 1 kid checked off....no wonder it wasnt showing temptations as an option
