Cancuncare Peeps, need your help.... Hubby and I have decided to split our vacation time- 7 nights @TTR and 2 nights @at Desire (everytime we go down to Cancun we kick ourselves for not slipping over to the sister resort)

What is the best way to book 2 nights at Desire?

Is there any offers during the time share presentations or a last minute site I can use?

Hurry hurry so I can start my countdown....:icon_biggrin:

Unlike Temptation, Desire is not discounted by anyone

You can book Desire via this site ( here is the link ) and I believe Steve will throw in free transfers for stays of 3 nights or more which is the best discount you can expect.

You can also book direct with Desire or through any of the TAs that specialize in Desire but for a two night stay they will not provide free transfers.

We decided to do the same thing. We wanted to check out Desire Pearl as well. So in July we are hitting 2 nights at Desire followed by 10 nights at TTR. I was wondering the same thing as you.

I wish the Desire forum was set up just like CCC.

Holy cow! $500+/night?! Would have liked to check it out, but that's steep! I have to imagine it's worth it though, else people would not be paying those prices...

It is worth it! We figure we work hard, so we've earned it. We always split our holiday, 4-5 days at Temptations, then 5-6 days at Desire. For the last 7 years we were at Desire Mayan; last year we tried Pearl for 3 nights and loved it. So this year, 4 nights at Temptations, then 6 nights at Pearl.
    Only 15 more sleeps!

When we were there in Feb we had notices in our door that gave us free upgrade to Desire.

In most cases this is because TTR is overbooked. You can always enquirer at the desk @ TTR when your there. I am sure they will be glad to help you.

We have done 2 split trips so far. Planned ahead and used DennyP travel (just google it) both times. Each time we did 5 nights at TTR then 2 nights at Desire. Yes they have had some free options to go to Desire- a few years ago when we were at TTR, they had an upgrade to go to Desire for the weekend- but that may have been when Desire had low occupancy. Good luck!
