After searching and searching for "deals" or at least an affordable price we finally booked a stay at Golden Parnassus. DH and I had no idea were to book, we did not want to be with the college crowd and since this will be our first vacation alone (no children), the Golden P. sounded like the perfect combination. We looked at Tempt. Resort but I am a bit shall we say, not daring and it just did not seem for me. Believe me I read many, many resort reviews so I could narrow down my choices. I think the golden P. will be a nice intro. to an Adults Only resort. I am so glad I found this forum as it has given us a chance to find out more about the resort. I am a bit obsessive about making the right choice :icon_redface:. I truly enjoy reading everyone's 2 cents on this forum, specially HammieJ's. Keep the info coming! This will be my second time in Cancun, went about 8 years ago and love it! This is DH's first time. I know we'll have a blast! artytime:

Mitz, You have found the right place. Me and my wife were looking for an adult only spot and were just alittle unsure about Temptations. We've never actually knew anyone personally that had been and just didn't want to take the chance. Then we heard about the Golden. This site is awesome and HammieJ is a daily poster. She is a book of knowledge on this resort and responds daily to questions you have. Thumbs up to HammieJ. Me and my wife have decided on the GP, we started as just us two and now have gotten to a group of 10 with friends of ours planning to go with us. The posts from all the people here and from HJ made up our mind. We will be there May 27th thru 3 June.
hahah my bad for posting so much! I work like 33343256543 hours a week at much job and I literally sit on a couch and am bored until it's time to leave. lol. I used to be on FB non-stop but I had to take a break! Plus Cancun is getting close so i'm sooo excited!! I'm so happy that I could use all of my knowledge on a tiny little property to good use!
