We are newbies too! Looks like we will overlap by a day the night of the 10th. Maybe we can meet up, you can give us tips on all you discovered in your 4 days! No idea what we have gotten ourselves in to, lol.

Relax, join in conversations around/in the pool, meet new people & make new friends. Don't fret the potentiality of "weirdos," the pack runs them off IF they show up and act the fool. Be careful witht he drinking as the service there is so good you'll be 4 or 5 in before you normally would be! Again, relax, enjoy vacation. Make sure to drink water during the day, and take a break to go get a real meal in the afternoon so you can make it through the entire day. It's great fun!

Lots of good advice for Riviera Maya.

    1. Make friends with little Danny at the towel hut. He will set you up with pool side chairs and beach chairs as wanted. He’s awesome.

    2. Africa is a great bartender and used to be a poolside waitress. Super friendly and efficient.

    3. Lobby bar is open air and great for morning coffee, early evening drinks, entertainment happens there too. Then it’s up to the disco or hot tub. 3am tacos and pizzas day the lobby bar are essential.

    4. Roof top hot tub has a swim up bar and siting bar side so no need to bring drinks to the pool or hot tub.

    5. Leg bug spray for evenings at the lobby bar. Trust us !! Welts are enormous in a thong next day.

    6. Room choice by resort location can make the difference. We love to be by the pool between the lobby bar and pool which is at the bottom of the stairs by the hot tub area. - super central. Room 1301 is the fave.

    7. Do the hibachi meal in the Asian restaurant. It’s a great and fun show. Nice way to meet people too.

    Could go on & on.

    Have a great holiday.
