Starting Feb 2015 we will be raising the price of the Boobs Cruise by $7 from $85 to $92. Reasons being: The price per person we are charged by the boat company has increased. We doubled the salary we pay our Ents staff and DJ last summer. We invested in 2 new speakers making a total of 4 plus new mixing desk, new microphones etc. We now have $5,000 of sound equipment in use each trip. The number of props and freebies we give away has increased and will increase further in 2015. E.g bottles of fireball, champagne, prizes etc. The price increase will take effect for cruises from February onwards. January cruises will run at the previous price as we were only advised of our price increase today and we have already taken bookings for January. The balance will still be $55pp on the day, but the deposit portion will increase from $30 to $37. I still feel this is great value, particularly when you realise the regular tour using the same boat but without our sound system, Ents staff, prizes, shots and fun people sells online for 93.60 plus 10 tax, total $103.60 source here
my thoughts haven't changed since last years price increase. Price increase sucks but it doesn't suck as bad as missing a Boobs Cruise. We are lucky we booked the Jan. 31 cruise. Still deciding on the first cruise in Feb. I am betting we do them both.
In the grand scheme of things, it's miniscule............and don't forget you need to make a living too. We (not speaking for EVERYONE on this site, just us.........) think it's actually good if you make money so there will be more boobs cruises
high value Regardless of the increase, in our opinion, the Boob cruise is the an incredible bargain. The experience is beyond all expectations. Steve and his crew do everything they can to make each trip a day to remember. In the United States, just save back some of the money from the recent gasoline price drop and you will more than cover the increase.:icon_biggrin:
The price increase is fine by me. Steve, you have proven over and over again that you know what you are doing and you are good at it. It is a great idea keep improving the equipment keep the staff happy. The resort has found out the hard way how difficult it can be to keep a great entertainment person. Look forward to seeing you again in February!
All good Steve...exceptional value for the fun (even if Chinos paddles my ass harder that it needs to be, lol). Drop in the bucket if you ask me and not a game changer whether to do a BC or not. Besides, you have to earn a living too
