Two snippets of good news regarding the cruises. New Boats: As from the cruise on 26th October we will be using new boats. There are two new boats, one arrived already (although I haven't seen it yet) and the other arrives shortly. The boats are just as luxurious as our previous one but are a few years younger. The boat owners (Albatros) have a policy of upgrading their boats every couple of years and these changes are part of that. I'll post some pics when I have some. New (old) Staff: Dario, one of our current MC's, is taking an extended vacation back to Argentina to see family and friends over Christmas and will be back in Cancun in January. We will be welcoming back the one and only Omar who lots of you will remember from previous cruises. Chinos will of course continue to work with us as always and celebrates his 100th Boobs Cruise on October 21st! Omar's first cruise back with us will be 14th November.
This made my Canadian Thanksgiving! Love the Omar/Chinos duo! Can't wait to see everyone on the December 1 cruise
Great to know Omar will be back!!!!! Actually, last December we went on a newer boat and believe it or not, I thought the one before that was better. I'm not sure if the waves were choppier last year but the previous years seemed less perilous to walk around and I believe there was more solid ground (instead of mostly netting) in the front of the boat. I also believe that the ropes surrounding the boat were higher in past years. That led to more dancing around and whipped cream "sharing". Last year, it seemed like where ever you started, that's where you stayed and mostly sat down. When I wanted to dance, I had to rope myself to the mast. Not complaining, just an observation.
Do the new boats carry the same amount of people, or (hopefully) more? I hate that so many people who want to do Week 8 cruises are unable to go, due to capacity.
For now, Omar is standing in for Dario while Dario is away. Things may change come the New Year but we'll see how things progress.
I haven't got all the details yet, I'll find out more at the next cruise on Wednesday. I don't think either of the new boats are bigger than our current one - I did ask for a bigger one but it's not my money
