Can anyone tell me more about the 2 optional events on the Boob Cruise or direct me to a link where this has been discussed before? Some of the things I'm wondering about are?

How much time do you have on the island?
How far is the shopping from where we dock?
How close are the golf cart rental areas?
Do you miss the island fun/sexy games on the beach if you go shopping?

Optional events are snorkeling and "petting the shark". Events on the island are shopping or drinking at the dock side bar. Shopping is within a few minutes of the dock. Golf cart rentals are right there. Have about an hour-ish. Island fun-sexy games are held where they have lunch so no interference with shopping...

An hour and a half for lunch and games at the beach club, an hour at the downtown stop.

The first stop at the beach club there are a few souvenir stalls but I wouldn't recommend shopping there. The second Island stop is right in the middle of downtown with plenty of shops.

Within a few hundred yards of the second stop. However, there isn't really enough time to rent a golf cart imho. Of course you can if you want, but it normally takes 15 minutes to do the paperwork and then allowing 10 mins for drop off and getting back to the boat on time gives you about half an hour and you cant really go far in half an hour - 15 mins out, 15 mins back.

No, the games are at the (first) lunch stop. Shopping is at the second stop.

Thanks. I didn't realize there were two separate stops.

Of course if you are interested in golf cart rental, you could always go back to Isla Mujeres on another day via bus/ferry. It's a lovely place and well worth spending a whole day on the island.

Yep. Tina and I did this last year. You can walk to the ferry. Walk along the beach to the right of TTR , it will taps about 20 minutes or so. Just look for the pirate ship.

I remember on the labor day cruise, a few people rented one, and we saw them tearing up and down the street on it within like 5 minutes... we were like wtf where did they get that thing!??! It was HILARIOUS... And how they didn't crash it, I don't know.

Yeah, you know who you are lol.
