I'd imagine its nothing more than a drunk who decided to go for a swim in the middle of the night... course the police might just mark it up as "narco killing" since that's what they seem to do 99% of the time rather than investigate it.. I've seen idiots jumping off the bridges a few times out there and I guess if you land wrong you'd be in some trouble, especially if you're drunk...
According to reports, the body was found under the bridge, highly decomposed and apparently partially eaten by animals (crocs most likely). They suspect he has been dead about five days. hate it when they use the picture of the dead body :S Sounds like a fisherman, from what the article says. Not sure how much media attention it will get, though... we're coming up on Cancun's low season. If Spring Break were coming up, God only knows how many tourists they would manage to scare off.
