:wave:Ok, here we go. Sorry for the tardiness, but yeah that whole work thing took over. Lol. One thing I would like to up front point out is that this is a report and a comparison to TTR. And because Angela is writing the report, it will be long. HaHa. However, Bobby & I talked about the things we experienced and agreed on everything. What? Yepp J So, Bobby & I went to TTR for our annual February trip. Bob has been bugging the shit out of me wanting to go to D.E.S.I.R.E. Oh my Gosh, those of you who know him, you know that is all that he talked about. I wasn’t too keen on the idea because of what I read/etc. However, I wasn’t sure about our first TTR trip when I first read the horrible/inaccurate trip advisor reports. Obviously, it worked out because we just completed our 8th TTR trip. I am glad that we went to Desire, so now we know. We had been offered as Members to go over to Desire a few times, but they were during H & H week and you know we were not going to give up on this trip and our great friends. So, this year we went to TTR for 5 nights & bit the bullet & went to Desire for the last two nights of our trip. This was a costly one- $500.00/night, yep 1K for two nights! Anyway, our shuttle service was the same, All Do Tours and they did another great job. The trip is about 45 minutes from TTR to Desire, going towards the airport. The road into the resort is a long one. Made ya feel like, yeah we need to keep these people away from civilization cause their naked and all. When we pulled into the resort, there were warning signs. Beware of Crocodiles. And we saw them in the small lagoon if you will. No worries, kinda cool. We were promptly greeted and processed in with a glass of champagne. The check in process was a little lengthy, but extremely informative. Then went over to the other desk for a meeting with our Concierge. He let us know where we can go, do, eat, swim, be naked and cannot. And where we can publicly have sex or not. Never thought we would hear that. Bobby & I looked at each other giggling like the teacher told us something we weren’t supposed to laugh at. Then we were greeted by Rafael and he took us to our room. He was great. He checked on us at least 5 times a day to ensure we had everything we needed. At this point, we had not seen anyone fully nude in the front areas. I.e. Lobby Bar, Common areas, Gift Shop (More Expensive), etc, nor did we for the rest of the trip. The grounds in our opinion are not as clean as TTR. There was trash, silverware, etc. in the bushes. You are in a small jungle-type setting if you will. Beautiful trees. The beach was not well manicured. They did try to do their best to get the seaweed off the shore. Unfortunately, not enough as we ran into many people with several bites on their legs from Sand Fleas from the sand and seaweed. The room was nice, but not clean. Found nat dust and a little mold in the corner, not a huge deal. In room Jacuzzi, needed some work, but still worked. Room was set up with Champagne and fruit, climate controlled with a Mitsubishi- Nice. No must smell at all ! Large Flat Screen TV, with Directv- Wide variety of channels that broadcasted in English. Whereas TTR does not have this, except for one channel and oh yeah 12 & 14 do J. Bathroom sink area was large. Shower was smalllllllll. Got somewhat settled and then went to the Lobby Bar, grabbed a cocktail. This bar was great, it was open 24 hours. Fresh beans for coffee/capps/espresso’s for every cup. Served late night homemade pizzas specific to your request. This Bar was like the Paty O, but on a much, much smaller, calmer and quieter scale. Staff was great, but nothing like our Bar & Waitstaff at TTR. Off to the “Main and only Pool”. Crickets, heard crickets. Very quiet at 4pm. Maybe 10 people, playing soft music. Not like the Sexy Pool. Went to the famous Jacuzzi. OMG! So, we were told it is a 45 person hot tub that you can have sex in with your partner or with everyone. There were 65 or more people easy. No room to get in or move around. A few guys were sitting on the edge getting BJ’s. While the other people had free reign on the ladies from behind. Sword crossing because it was so packed. Seriously elbows to elbows packed. Honestly, not our cup of tea with a shit load of strangers. We decided to go to the pool. The staff was great, they grabbed us fresh towels and chairs where we wanted to be. Hung out for a bit and then went to the room and got dressed for dinner. They dress up to the nines including dressing up for the Buffet. Which is fine, because Bob & I do this at TTR. The food was ok. Bob ordered Lobster ($40 USD) and it was huge, maybe 10-12 ounces; however, the fish was not prepared very well, not much flavor and was tough. I tried a Pasta dish and opted for the Spicy Sauce. Had to order something else, because it was toooooo Spicy. We ordered appetizers, soups, etc. I was ok with it. Bob, not so much. Other than the Lobster, he is more of a meat & taters guy. So, the fancy prepared meals, not top of his list. After dinner, we went back to the Lobby Bar. An AMAZING band played for a few hours. Could have listened to them for days !!! Then to the DISCO Bar. This is like a little night club with a very small dance floor. Theme night was Millionaires and Bunny’s. The staff put on a great show. There is a play room where everyone can get together and have sex on provided furniture/ ropes/ etc.. After seeing the Jacuzzi scene, we opted out of this one. Anyway, back to the Lobby Bar and sat and had drinks and made some new acquaintances. It was nice. Mostly everyone went back to the Jacuzzi tub for another round which left only a few people at the Bar. We opted to stay at the bar and have a few drinks and called it a night. Day two, Buffett Breakfast was great ! All of their food tasted more like home so to speak. The breads & desserts tasted better. By that I mean, you truly tasted the flour, sugar, etc. Not so much at TTR. Went to the Pool. It is not a very big pool, about the size of the Quite Pool but did have a swim up Bar that was rarely tended. Didn’t see the Pool guy from the day before, so another gent tried to help us. Then our guy showed up and quickly intercepted and told the other guy, no they like to other chairs and quickly took over. We tipped him and thanked him. People can be fully nude here, most were, some had suits. Laying out naked is really nice, Bob & I concurred and partook J Bobby actually relaxed so much that he napped for a few hours by the pool. I had our pool guy pull up the umbrella so he didn’t fry. We RARELY had someone come and offer us drinks. Seriously my friends, I had to go to the Pool Bar for most of our drinks. Not real pleased because Bobby & I are so spoiled at TTR. We laid out at the pool for most of the day. Grabbed a great lunch. They had a mixture of the Tex Mex and Buffet at TTR, but much much more variety. Open Grill to get anything you want. The afternoon fared nicely with a huge Pool Party. They had a great DJ- Loud music, through in all kinds of floats, beach balls, pool toys, etc. Super Super Fun !!!!! Went to the room for awhile. Bob was tired and took another nap J This was fine with me as it was good for him. Dinner, we chose the buffet. It was good, real good. Nothing real exquisite, but excellent taste and food quality. Went to the Lobby Bar after dinner. Theme night was ABC. Anything but clothes. People came up with some pretty cool ideas, it was fun. Met some really nice people, had drinks, late night pizza and fresh coffee and bailey’s before bed. All in all, we met some really nice people. You could tell who hooks up and who doesn’t and with who. Never felt pressured to be engaged with others. Note to self, they refer to themselves as Lifestylers, not Swingers. Don’t forget. We can honestly say if it was offered to us at no charge, we would go back, but would absolutely not pay $500.00/ a night. It was a small resort, 140 rooms I think. Every night, they would turn down our bed and leave snacks for us, fruit, cheese, crackers, Champagne and yes porn towel art At TTR, we party like Rockstars for days. The best part of Desire was meeting new people, the lobby bar and the relaxation of everything before heading home. The End :wave:
:uk1: Will be our first trip to Desires RM in May, from what you described sounds like you stayed in the "Passion Suite". We too have booked this suite for our 10 days. Hoping for a great fun holiday!.....going with an open mind of course, but do have certain expectations, as you say, not a cheap room to book for any length of time!
We have not been to Desire but we have suspected that our reaction would be similar to yours. If we get an offer to go for a couple of nights we will probably take it just to see what it's all about but I just can't see paying the rates that they charge. Especially when we would probably rather be at Temptation with all of our friends. Thanks for the TR guys. See ya in a few weeks!

Thanks for the report. We considered splitting our recent trip as it would be nice to have a little quieter couple of days to end your vacation after partying at TTR. Will definitely consider that next time. I mean who doesn't like a good sword fight with 65 people in a hot tub?
