I just got back from a trip to Corales from Yaxcillian Ave. and I strongly recommend people avoid driving in that area if possible.. the streets are badly flooded out and will be impassable if the rain keeps up. Even along the main streets many intersections are flooded out..... I saw a few "low-riders" stalled out in the road. Its been so long since Cancun got a good rain that I had forgotten how dangerous it gets... & TURN YOUR FREAKING LIGHTS ON PEOPLE!! its bad enough that the rain is pouring, windows are fogging, and streets are flooded.... then to have invisible cars come out of nowhere... :evil: Anyway.. be safe everybody its a mess out there....
Yaxcillian itself wasnt too bad.. but the intersection at Uxmal and Yax was flooded.. depending where you're coming from you might be ok.. just watch out for the idiots who dont know how to drive on wet roads....
