I'm forecasted for another winter storm starting as rain and thunderstorms Thursday early then falling temps, wind, and like five to seven new inches of snow before it's over by Saturday. So the rain's gonna freeze before the snow. I don't have to leave Thursday, but my honey works at night. Everyone be safe (or be thankful you're in Cancun)!
Ugly here too, over 25 cm of snow since Sunday and forecasting anywhere from another 5 to 15 by end of today. I have given up shovelling!!! :evil: Car door frozen this morning, people walk down middle of street because sidewalks have too much snow, bottom of pants stiff from snow, globs of snow fall on windshield from trees overhead, playing hide 'n seek with plows, etc. ... ah, the joy of Manitoba winters! :roll:
augh, i just got here after a miserable drive in.....i drive 35 miles to Green bay and back to work everyday....29 was horrendous, not sure why we pay taxes to have plows/salt and such coz they're not throwin it on the roads! No school for the kids today and i can almost guarantee no school for them tomorrow. In our neck of the woods, suppose to get foot-16 inches....if we do get that dumped on, this chicky is takin a snow day tomorrow herself!!!
6 inches of snow then an inch or so of ice for us here. Still better than the nearly 3 feet of snow 2 weeks ago.
We are supposed to get 2 or 3 inches of rain....hope they are right about it being too warm to snow :!: :!:
