I'm having a hard time finding a resonable price for plane tickets. I'm flying out of philadelphia, and the best price i'm coming up with is 508$ per person. I'm finding good rates on the room for tempations, but the pane tickets are weighing it down. Does anyone have any good sites for airline tickets? Thanks!
Have you tried Air Tran out of Baltimore? They fly non-stop on some of their flights and also thru Expedia.
We booked a month ago on travelocity, we're flying from Canada but I'm sure travelocity has a US version of the site (most companies do before making the Canadian version). I think we did ok, but this is our first trip ever tropical like this, got 7 nights AI flying from a remote city in northern ontario (not the usual hubs of transport for flights) for 800$ CND a person, that's everything included for that price. Not sure if that's considered cheap or not, but it was in our price range
ive always flown out of newark and flown midweek...tuesday or so and fly back mid week. my usual trip is 10days 9 nights... so I do a tuesday to the following thursday, last year I paid 308 out of newark, non stop , round trip
travelocity package way to go I do endless research and the best I could do was 400 night for ocean view room and 500 each for flights. that is for 8 nights 3200 + 1000 On travelocity package deal hotel and flight from NY only 2700. Amazing. nonstop with jetblue out of jfk. coming and going.
We are flying out of Chicago on a Wednesday and it was still over $500 per person, I looked and looked and that was about the best I could find. Good luck!
We were looking at feb and may from Philly. We found recently feb dropped to 300something where the other months remain at 500. Because usair is the only direct option the starting prices for fri/sat departures and Sunday returns jump up way in advance. Your best option is midweek as stated above but sadly the starting price for midweek in some months from Philly is 500. We have found lower prices on expedia and travelocity that involve a stop in Atlanta on air tran but we don't like the risk of a missed connection for 50 in savings.
