Hi All I've been looking everywhere for biodegradeable sunscreen. I understand that it's necessary if we want to snorkel, etc.... I've looked at Pharma plus, Walmart, Shoppers and Health food stores...nothing I googled around abit and there was some mention that oil-free sunscreen would be ok too. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks Helena&Yvon:sunny:
You can get it from the USA Transfers driver, if you preorder, when you book your airport transfers. Last I checked, it was $12. We also love their 'After Sun' lotion.
We bought biodegradable sunscreen from the Sun Lady at the resort for when we went to Xel-Ha. Wasn't cheap if I remember rightly and you don't get a lot. They didn't even ask us if we had biodegradable stuff when we got to the park, but used it anyway out of courtesy for the fish!
Panama Jack is great. It's the brand they use @Sea World and Discovery Cove as it's safe for the animals. It also doesn't wash off as easily as other "waterproof" types.
We liked this stuff, you should be able to pick it up at your local organic grocery store Badger Natural Sunscreens- Safe & Effective Protection for the Whole Family!
