I'm sorry, I should have said "no." What I really mean is "I wish."

    Laura my dear,

Who always comes through in the clutch for you.

RG, you need to get out more to our finer dining establishments although I know you don't like the food here.

Next door to Sirloin Stockade in Paseo Cancun is a neat little bike shop called "Elitecyclery". Not sure how high end you want to go but they have
Fuji in the window for $11,000. They also have a repair shop.

    Hope this helps,
    T.J.

Just because there is a way overpriced bike does not mean that they have anything close to what I would consider to be a good bike shop by USA standards.

TJ - I had high hopes for that bike shop until I set foot in it. Not one Pearl Izumi product in the place (I need new gloves). They had about 3 nice bikes but seemed to be staying in business by selling cheap kids bikes. They have almost no stock of accessories or parts and the few things you do see on the shelves aren't particularly good brands. That shop is a wanna be bike shop, if they had money for proper inventory and a bit better understanding of what to stock they might start being a good bike shop.

And no, Sirloin Stockade does not qualify as a restaurant, sorry.

Oh and was that pesos? Because an $11,000 peso bike isn't particularly nice in the world of bikes. My last mtn bike was a close-out-on-sale-last-year model and I got it for $1300 USD and I ALWAYS had the shittiest bike around when I went riding with other people.

I tried looking for a bikes before but the only thing i could find in a shop that seemed really decent was a Ferrari bike in Liverpool, think it was 24,000 pesos, however if you ask for their catalog, they have a ton of them available, at varying prices, takes 15 days to order in, I got one for 2500 pesos after 30% discount and it's fine, I go as fast as anyone else, the wheels don't fall off, changes gear well (except for when it slips down off the third big cog and i bang my knee on the handlebar which bloody hurts) and it keeps me fit, suspension is okay, what else do you need? There is a bike shop at the Bull Ring called performance or something, never been in or seen exactly where it is though, they might have something a bit more high end.
