Is there any where downtown to rent bicycles? Also, would anyone know where there is a fixer-upper or two. We want to look around and see whats out there. Do not really want to involve a realtor at this time. Thanks. jayg
By fixer-upper you mean a house? Half of Cancun is fixer-uppers. And often the seller doesn't realize that. Standards are pretty low here often.

Well if you don't want to involve a realtor then I recommend getting a good map. There are fixer uppers all over. Get a local cell phone, drive around and start calling the numbers listed on houses that are for sale. It's the most thorough way to house shop here anyway.
