Simple solution, just get the Irfanviewer app/program for your computer. Install it, then use it to resize your pics (hint: use CONTROL + R to get that dialog to come up when you've opened the pic in the program. Reduce the file size to... it's either 800x600 or 600x400 (I can't remember) and it should upload for you fine.
