Im a 19 year old guy and I am planning a trip to Cancun for spring break, I am really excited Ive been wanting to go for years and i can finally afford it unfortunately my friends can not and i will be going alone. this doesn't bother me much i am a very social person and i have no problem with meeting and getting to know new people. I Just don't know what to expect of the area and i was hoping that some previous vacationers can give me some insight on which hotels are the best if your looking to PARTY!!! and the hotel has to have an all inclusive option. Also what are some awesome and fun things to do down there from your experience?? I dont want to miss a thing!!!!!
Most of the spring break action is at Grand Oasis Cancun and Oasis Cancun. There are 5 Oasis hotels in Cancun so make sure to get the right one. Also, any of the hotel at the party center (KM 9) are great for their location...Krystal & Riu Cancun are popular. PM me if you are interested in party packages for 1 or multiple nights, or the CUN Crawl bar hop. The CUN Crawl takes you to 3 clubs in one night from 10PM to 3AM...check it out here: Party Hopper CUN Bar Crawl & Playa Bar Crawl Tour.
Tons of student travel organizations, organize spring break trips. studentcuts I think is one. I'm older but tend to be mucho economica and have gone to quite a few of the hostels. Hotel deals can differ, none the less that is high season so if you don't book early you won't get your choice. I cannot gaurentee I will be in Mexico at that time, but just started filing for my tax returns so I may have a little more cash than I expected. Sadly my visa will only take me to the middle of february, but I think I would be eligible to extend again after January.. not sure on that.. None the less there are tons of cheap places, frankly club nights and events will cost .. rooms are cheap. It depends on your expectations. I could rattle off hotels and hostels to choose from. It depends what you are looking for, some single guys might prefer a spa to an all inclusive place with unlimited drinks and meals. On a budget you can go down to about $10 a day (maybe less if you can settle for a hammock instead of a bed, and even free but can't really mention that. Cancun is big tourism so they like people who spend. You want to bring cash for sure, and book a place to stay in advance if possible. If you get a general idea of what you want to pay, I could probably get you some details. Note there are people who do it professionally. I'm just a budget traveller. If I'm around I will defiantely chill. basically though everywhere you go expect other partiers, I cannot help but meet new people every time I come to Mexico, whether it is where I'm staying or at an event I head out to. People are pretty much friendly. The options are extreme, but like everywhere options can depend on how much you want to pay. It all depends on you. It really depends what your lifestyle is. I can be happy with my water filter and picking up a kg tortillas at a local tortillaria for 80 cents. IMO unless you are staying at a 4 or 5 star hotel, your partying will cost more than your hotel. the options are extreme. It will be nonstop party in Cancun and Playa during the break... ... but frankly most kids are pretty spur of moment deciders except for big name headliners they must see.... Expect every venue to be near capacity at that time..
Some good student popular hotels are Barcelo Costa - great All - Inclusive Krystal Gran Caribe Real - if you want to go all out **AVOID at last cost** the Oasis, rooms are small, old and resort is 30 mins to the action. All - Inclusive is cold hot dogs and hamburgers
