   Was wondering where you all think the best snorkeling is in Cancun, more specifically I want to go somewhere where the use of life jackets isn't required.

   imho the best snorkeling is at Puerto Morelos (which isnt exactly Cancun)

   I dont think you'll find anywhere that allows you to snorkel withiout a life vest though.
