We are arriving on the 18th and want to get in some good snorkeling in between all the drinking. So where can we go on our own and or with a group for the very best the Cancun area has to offer? Thanks - Steve
The best I came across on other sites and the (LP) is Isla Mujeres - snorkel rental $10 there and walk to the beach on the north east side of the island. There is a reef there.
There is a snorkel tour @ Puerto Morelos that is popular. Go to the top of this page, on the left click on Cancuncare.com. Scroll down the left side to Cancun Tours. Follow that to Cancun Snorkel Tour @ Puerto Morelos. Hope this helps. Have a great trip!! :ernaehrung015:
Yep, Puerto Morelos is my personal favourite - good advice NTBaby! You can snorkel as part of the Cancun Jungle Tour or a Catamaran trip to Isla Mujeres, but the snorkeling is an extra, certainly not the main event.
