Finally getting around to booking our 2nd trip to TTR...anyone have much luck finding decent deals online? Last time we got a really good deal w/Alpharooms but this time around it seems that Orbitz might be a better deal (looking at around $ 3000 or so for 9 nights...before any coupons)... Thanks!
We used Orbitz for the first time this year for an early May trip. Expedia was a few dollars cheaper, but we found a $175 promo code that sealed the deal with Orbitz...about $2750 for 12 nights. Alpharooms has never worked out for us because of the flights - Orbitz and Expedia always work out better flying from the Midwest with their package discounts.
Kept checking Alpharooms as so many on the forum find great deals there, but same here as above. Out of Midwest, Expedia and Orbitz usually offer best pkg price. Found a $100 promo code for Expedia a couple days ago. Sealed the deal for us. Now hurry up May!!!
With the resort at near if not full capacity for April and May a deal may be hard to get. Hope you get one though or at least something reasonable
We watched prices for nearly 2 months. Prices this year seem to only be going up, and quickly. Cold winter for so many and supply/demand. I know another thread already covers this topic. We couldn't book until we did and are paying about 25% more this year for the same trip as last year. Guess we'll just have to party harder to make up for it! I would suggest booking as early as you can.
Just booked our return trip for 9 nights at the end of May - total cost was about $ 3000 on Delta out of MSP using Orbitz (and a $150 discount coupon). Can't wait to get back!
