I know after 3 trips to TTR I should know but don't. What kind of beer do they have at resort and can I get usa beer at airport. We don't drink beer but am bringing friends that do. They drink Bush or Bud. Thanks Darrell
They have Dos Equis Lager (XX) on tap. There are local stores all over where you can pick up 6 packs of bud etc if you prefer. I'd say get them to try some of the local brews. Dos Equis (of course) Corona (yawn standard) Tecate Negro Modelo those are just a few that I can think of off the top of my head.
Sol is one of if not mexicos top selling beer. It's good The Mexicans don't drink corona. Just got popular in the states and Canada for whatever reason
Sounds like Corona is to the Mexicans what Milwakees Best is to us in the states from what people are saying
Do yourself a favor and bring yourself a 20 or 32 oz Bubba Mug,, you beer will stay cold and have a lid on it
We have friends that will only drink Bud Light, so they buy it at stores and drink it at the resort. If we ever went with them I would have tried to dump out the bud light and filled it with Dos equis to see if they would have noticed. I would bet money that you can't tell the difference (especially after drinking 2-3 beers).
I really don't think that the Dos Equis is the same as we get here. I don't like the resorts Dos Equis.
