I'm more of a beer drinker so my question is what beers do they serve at the bars. It's no big deal but I just want to start drinking those beers now so that I'm prepared by April. Other than Sol beer my motto is "beer's beer it all comes out clear."
Dos Equis draft and a lot of it and an occasional can from your fridge of course. The resort shop does carry corona if you want to splurge. Its a nice change every once and a while.

Here's a tip - if you take USA transport from the airport (it's a private transfer so no other people there to complain about anything) ask the driver to stop at a mini-mart (gas station) for a couple of beers for the ride. My guy actually suggested that to me when I asked him to wait for me to get some beers at the airport stand. He said it would be much, much cheaper at the mini-mart. Also much better selection. Picked up a dozen "for the ride".
Don't splurge for corona when you have Dos Equis! Corona is actually not "that" good a beer. They reason it tastes the way it does is because the way they store it.... in non-air-conditionned warehouses in the mexican heat.
