I saw that there was a post on here that listed the kind of liquor that the resort has; but what kind of beer do they have. The resorts that I have been to in Mexico have had dosecis(bad spelling), or corona.
Also, are there other party supplies that are available around the resort? If so, where, and is it safe. (I hope that doesn't offend anyone)

The resort has Dos Equis and then cans of Dos Equis in your room.

I'd recommend sticking with the Dos Equis and available liquor. If you read the news there are other 'party supplies' available in Mexico, not at the resort as far as I know - but I'd sure hate to get busted on vacation buying from an undercover cop. Is it worth it?

I have read alot of people talking about "party supplies" and going to jail. Not that I condone it, but in 2009 a law was passed in mexico that decriminalizes the possession of a certain amount of party supplies. Believe it or not, this also includes very hard party supplies. That being said, I'm not sure if this includes the purchase/sale of said amounts.

You can pick up party supplies at many local retailers including Walmart. Most are safe except I would avoid very shiny colors or checkered patterns for balloons, etc.

As far as I know, there aren't any laws or limitations on how much you can possess, although people will question if have more than say...oh...i don't know.... 1000 balloons... 2000 of those horn things...10,000 napkins, etc.

Be careful with the full body scanners at the airport. You don't want anyone attending your party that you don't want there.

Ha! I laugh in the face of full body scans! It would take them FOREVER to see what I have down there.... uh... wait a minute. Doh!
