TTR 3 times. Had fun. DRM once and we are sold! This place is heaven. We are here now. Have a friend who is a Premier member and have an opportunity to become a beneficiary and take roughly 50 days from him. He referred us initially to TTR in 2019. advice? Am I an official member? Benefits? How is this done?
We became beneficiaries on our friends membership. They called into Premier and added us to the account. We have all of the same benefits they do with the exception of maybe one or two and I cannot think of them right now. When I want to book a trip, I email premier and give them my dates and book it through them. I will warn you that after you do that, they will still hound you and try and get you to branch off and buy into your own membership. We were in the sales pitch at DRM and the woman was trying to instill fear in us saying our friends could kick us off the plan anytime they wanted.. I am not sure how true that is.. But we trust our friends and know that would not happen. I know many people ask to have a notarized "contract" drafted by the members outlining the deal they made.
I believe one of the benefits they have said don't extend to beneficiaries is the complimentary cabana once per visit.
Definitely counts as being a "member" or "owner"! We have been selling some nights to others and adding "beneficiary" to our contract. It's an amazing deal for the purchasers without the same level of commitment for a direct contract, and since our first contract with Original was in 2006, we have a lower price point than more recent purchasers
Anyone interested in a master suite beneficiary? I have two spots remaining and willing to sell 100 or 200 nights for a great deal!
I hear, being a Premier member comes with some pretty epic perks like priority reservations, upgraded accommodations, and discounts on yummy food and spa treatments. I say go for it and find out about the process of becoming an official member so you can enjoy the benefits too. Safe travels and have a blast!
