Newbie here. beach looks small but are you able to walk unobstructed past other hotels? If you wanted to walk for an hour say, could you?

    Thanks,

A certain distance yes. But not a hours worth of walk. We went toward the pirate ship the one way and you hit a plaza and we didn't go farther than that. The other way I think there was an obstruction at one point.

Temptation Resort is at the end of the island/Strip. U can walk towards the right but will come to the canal with the Pirate Ships like MacAttack said. U would have to get back up on the sidewalk to cross the bridge over the canal. But the next beach area doesn't start for a while . Go to the left and it's just run down properties. Also remember the beach off of TTR is a public beach. So yes..you can walk on the beach for a bit

Any idea how much you could possibly miss if you are gone for an hour?

You can walk on the beach for an hour, sure.

Walk about a hundred yards generally south, then turn around and walkback and past where you started another hundred yards,, then turn back around. That's 400 yards right there, probably take you about ... oh, let's see, 55 mph is 88 fps, so 3 mph (it's sand) is 4.8 fps so that 1200 feet will take about 250 seconds, so the full hour of 3600 seconds will have you do about 14 and a half laps, which is perfect, so you end up in the middle.

    Cool, eh?

No, you can't walk a mile in one direction unobstructed.

    Walking

Beaches are public, so one can walk past other properties in either direction. But they might have different outfit standards :) On the other hand, I have seen people walking through TTR beach passing topless sunbathers with mixed reaction. Also, if a beach walker strays from the shore to TTR property, security guards check bracelets. Expect other properties to do the same.

We typically go down to the beach at least one time per day so Stacia can stick her toes in the water, she loves that. We walk around out there, and if we see people we've met/know, then we might stay out there a while, but end up back around the Sexy Pool without a doubt sooner or later. It'd be different if the planned beach bar, really down there ON the beach, ever gets done. That'd be neat-O!

You can walk a very long time. If you climb up the gentle hill by the Pirate ship, cross the pedestrian bridge and then climb a hill back down to the beach. I'm not sure how far you can go, but we walked a long way.

Also there is nice walking paths out front of the resort with KM markers to help you know where you are.
