These pictures were taken from the pool deck of the Park Royal Hotel. The width of the beach is astounding. I hope the block work they're doing down at Punta Cancun will help to maintain these new beaches. The sand appears to be finer than the stuff they pumped in 2006. These are the beaches that we first loved when we came here. It's good to see it again. The dredge directly off the beach between the Park Royal and the Agua. Looking North towards the Party Zone. Wow, that's huge! Great pics Mixz. Good to hear the sand is finer than the last attempt. I remember it was very coarse and full of bits of shell.
