OUR NEW BEACHES The amount of sand that's being relocated in this project is truly amazing, as will be the beaches, when they finish!
Re: OUR NEW BEACHES Even if they manage to thwart Mother Nature and keep the sand on the beach (this time), it's not the sugar-white, always cool to the feet, ground coral of the natural Cancun beaches. The micro-air circulation that kept the coral sand beaches cool to the touch does not happen with the bottom sand being fetched. It's not as white and it's not as fine-grained. Nevertheless, I'll be happy to have a beach again.
jen, Is that the Salvia in the background of your first picture? Has the work extended as far as the Salvia, Carisa, Palma, etc.? Haven't been out there in a while. I saw your inlaws the other day in Costco. Thanks,
Anyone know when they are planning to have the beach work completed? Or when the beach at Dreams is supposed to be done
As of today, I was down around the Hilton, and it looks like that is about done. And they are now at Playa Delfines...that is Km 18. Westin Lagunamar is KM 12.5, so that beach will look like all the pics of the new beaches.
Hi there all, I am new to Cancuncare and my partner and I are going back to Cancun in October this year we are taking her younger sister with us this time. Last time we were in Cancun was 2006. We are staying at Crown Paradise and just wondered what the beach is like at this hotel?
