My girlfriend and I will be in Cancun from March 19th until the 26th and we're staying at Riu Palace Penninsula. Obviously drinks and all are included at the resort, but we plan on being on the beach by Oasis often and were wondering where a good CHEAP place along the beach would be to get drinks. I'm a beer guy and she's a fruity drink type girl, if that helps. We just don't want to pay an arm and a leg for a round of drinks every time we're off the resort. Any advice would help! The only bars on Oasis beach are Oasis beach bars. You won't have a lot of choices. Better to just BYOB.
Anyone have any idea how to get to the Beach at Oasis, when you're not staying there? We will be and Grand Park Royal Caribe (which is about 7KM down the beach) Last year we stayed at Fiesta Americana so we just walked right next door. I would love to bring my BF to see the awesome-ness that happens! But I dunno about walking that far!!!
I think the closest cut through is from Gran Melia. Omni is all inclusive now so you can't walk through there either. But maybe someone knows a secret passage. Norma?
