Of the two above, which would you pick for a week stay in October, and why? What would you say are the perks or downfalls of each?
If I had to pick, I would choose Bash tower. Jacuzzi perks: Ground floor, all around the quiet pool, bar outside your room. No real negatives that I can think of. Bash perks: Bigger room, bigger bathroom, seating area that is not your bed. The tower rooms give you access to the the skybar for free if you are not a member, probably a better view. We've stayed in a jacuzzi room before renovations and it was nothing special. It was a free upgrade but I wouldn't pay for it. Hope that helps! Nikki
If it rains during your stay you guys just need to find where the party people are and carry on like normal....maybe pool bar, lobby bar, sports bar. They will be somewhere. October has great groups of repeaters!! What are your dates?
We will be there 10/25-11/2 hopefully. That being said, I guess we’ll have better things to do during Halloween week than to soak in a jacuzzi! Lol
Typing at the risk of being admonished by the “old man thread police” I’ll give my two cents.... A jacuzzi room is a small upgrade from a garden room. For that price it quarentees a first floor room around the quiet pool, and that is why we have booked it three times. A Garden room could be anywhere on the resort except a tower room, and some of those aren’t ideal. I thought a Tower room was a small bump up in $’s from a jacuzzi room, so price point you want to spend may have considerations. We spent very little time at all in the room, so slightly larger room or bathroom wasn’t a selling point, but for some it is. Everyone seems to rave about the rooftop access in the tower, but at the same time seem to be trying to sell people to go there, because it’s so dead ♂️. So not sure on that. It wasn’t open when we were there. The jacuzzi itself is rather small, and we didn’t use it on th last trip, largely because we spent time in the hot tub each day anyway. The previous trip, pre reno, we used it on a rainy day like you are referring about.
