Wife and I are going back for our second TTR trip. We first went in December 2020 on a spur of the moment trip. We literally booked it and our flight left 3 hours later.

Having said that, we want to upgrade our room this time to the Bash tower.
I know there’s a posh bar but aside from that anything different? Is it worth the cost?

    We are going April 11-16.

    Thanks in advance.

That’s really depends on what type of person you are? Does a view matter, elevator, free porn, free room service, free roof top bar/pool, 2 sinks, closer to bash/louder. Seriously if those don’t matter to you and you like a quieter area and only use the room for sleeping and don’t plan on using any of the things above. Then don’t go upgrade to the tower. Don’t get the tower if you only want to use the rooftop pool once or twice just pay to go up there, the cost per night to upgrade is usually not worth just the roof. You have been once before so I assume it was not in the Bash tower. My advice is get the tower this time. That way you can make that call for your third trip because there will be a third.

I believe Sea Flirt breakfast is also a perk now. Also “Tower guest” pool lounger area that no one uses.

And don't forget the balcony shows.

We're trying to make the same decision. Currently booked into a Garden View room but would like to upgrade to the Tower. The two sinks, more space, balcony shows and Sea Flirt breakfast are appealing. How difficult is it to get a pool lounger if you're in the Garden View rooms?

Where did you stay last time? Our first three trips we stayed in Jacuzzi rooms around the quiet pool. Those rooms are just a small upgrade in price, but with that you know exactly where you will be, and you won't be getting a garden room facing a street.

Once we were used to that price point it wasn't too big of an upgrade to go to a Bash Tower room, and that is what we have done the last two trips, and likely will always do.

The added bonuses you get with the Tower make it worth it for us.

The breakfast buffet can be hit or miss, and so we always get the room service breakfast. Never had a complaint, and really like it. It is nice to eat breakfast on a sunny morning, and look out over the pool and ocean.

Kind of the same thing happens with lunch. After a while the loud games get repetitive, and same for the lunch buffet. We find that is a great time, to get a good meal up at the Sky Bar. The water up there is also much warmer, and that can make a difference on bad weather days.

Were not foodies at all, and Meri is a pretty picky eater, so Sea Flirt, and Sutra aren't what we are looking for, so if we don't go buffet or Romanza, then we could do room service again.

So food wise the access to the Skybar, and free room service help pay for the difference in room price.

Add to that the view is just so much better, it feels like the atmosphere is better, and yes, balcony shows are readily available, then add it all up, and the Tower is the way to go.

If you do get a Tower room try and get one that is on the right hand side, if you are facing the pool. The other side gets a lot of sun in the morning. Also the higher up the better.

If none of that matters to you, and you would like to save money, and do more trips in a year, then maybe you would have different thoughts.

It is nice that Tower guest have a designated area for loungers, and they are the reclining kind, and there is always some available. There is limited space around the pool, because they keep adding things to get people to pay for like the big beds, and the Champaign pods.
