My wife and I are traveling to Temptation for the first time since renovations in September. We have been many times in the past and always request a first floor room at the quiet pool. This is so after all the partying at the sexy pool all day and Paty'os at night we have a quiet place to get a good nights sleep and recharge to do it all again the next day. Since the renovations is this still the case? Or perhaps there is a better choice. Any help would be appreciated as once I check into a room I would rather not have to pack up and relocate.
We also always stay on the quiet pool side of the resort. It’s the same as prior to the renovation. We were there in April and are heading back tomorrow. We like getting a room overlooking the quiet pool as well for the reasons you stated!
We would like to do the same thing as you! Last time we were there (pre-reno) our room was on the first floor right beside Paty'O's. Let's just say one night I went to bed early and I thought the DJ was in my bathroom! LOL. I need the quiet area for relaxation this trip!
We just returned yesterday. As usual we requested an OV room overlooking quiet pool. We were in room 9320. Perfect. We have also stayed in 9319 and 9316. We prefer this area. Close walk to both pools and lobby area without the noise. We usually put in our reservation that we would like a room between 9322-9315. Only draw back is not a king bed on the 3rd floor, so we push together our two double beds LOL. I believe if you stay in a jacuzzi/1st floor room, king is available.
We really love the Jacuzzi rooms on the first floor on the quiet side. We found it very quiet and perfect for when we needed sleep.
Like you, we have always requested the Jacuzzi room around the Quiet Pool for the quiet and not having to deal with the stairs. We were there two weeks ago and had the room next to the Italian restaurant but the ramp by our room was anything but quiet. My brother and his wife had a room in the tower and we visited it one night and I will now get a room there for now on, since they have insulated it well for sound and there is an elevator.
We stayed in 8301 and sleeping was almost impossible from all the noise..not Bash but people yelling, singing, banging, and all around being rude in room areas. This happened all hours and we'll definitely be referencing input from other people on where to room next time.
Pretty sure we had that same room on our first trip two years ago. Right in front of our balcony was a plastic plate/cover in the sidewalk. People would walk over that all day and night, and it always made this loud noise. Also there was a kitchen staff room right around the hallway, and they got going pretty early in the morning. It wasn't very quiet. Our next trip last year we were on the other side, first floor. When you were walking to the bathrooms from the sexy pool you would walk right into our room. That room wasn't very quiet either, as the walkway acted like a funnel channeling all of the Bash music up thru it. We had an early night one night, and it was really loud. That being said we are going to request one of those rooms near the bathrooms again. I think there are two to the left, and three or four to the right. It's convenient to use your own room for a bathroom, and in the morning it's like having two bathrooms for getting ready, because the room set-up doesn't allow a lot of privacy.... It was interesting one afternoon after a SNAP, you could hear sexy pool music coming thru the door, and quiet pool music coming thru the balcony. It was like walking thru the different "Worlds" at Magic Kingdom, and getting a little of both themes as you passed from one to another, if you've ever been to Disney.
We've always been on the other side of the pool and it was quiet for us. I didn't mind the noise this year because I get up early due to my condition of vacation FOMO, but there were times I thought the staff dumped the cart they were pushing. It also helped me get to know my neighbors as they passed by me each morning while I was waiting for my wife. Funny, none of them wanted a shot of my tequila at 10 am.
Can you guys recommend the jacuzzi rooms that were quieter so that if we want some peace on occasion we can get it...and sleep. Having a hard time finding the right location and if you have my luck I always get stuck with sucky rooms so I would like to try and avoid this for once?
