Looking like we are going to get a few days of bad weather coming through, which is not uncommon for this time of year. All predictions point to a Tropical Depression passing over from Wednesday night with 4-8 inches of rain. Things should be better by Saturday. Here's the track which will update every 8 hrs:
That's a bit of poetic licence from me, not from any official source. The dots are 12 hrs apart so just extrapolating and guessing.
Wow last time I saw that much rain we were sitting with Jannet and Steve downtown drinking (great memories) and watching cars rock (okay they were kind of floating) every time the buses went by. Good memories but everyone take care and stay safe! Debbie and George
Hey Steve! When using that map you posted I would tend to go with the GFS model (red line). Of the models on that chart it really is the one that verifies best for the time period we're looking at here. That said, personally I'd go with the GFS Ensemble mean which is the white line on this image : Now I'll give you one guess what my username might mean.
you like the New York Mets? *goes back to looking at rocks, trying to get water out of rocks, trying to convince my friends that getting water out of rocks is as important as getting oil out of rocks*
It's my fault - Back in June, I was really close to booking a trip for this coming week. Jamie couldn't get time off work. I forgot to let the weather gods know I wasn't coming. Sorry - my bad. A rainy day at TTR is better than most sunny days here...so if you're going just smile and enjoy yourself.
