Pros: Great reunion once again with awesome friends! The best weather we've ever had!! Good mix of music at PatyO's Awesome Boobs Cruise! Met some new great party people! Tons of beautiful women! Still the best bartenders on the planet, bar none!! _____________________________________________________________ Cons: A/C in room was poor at best. Was fixed only next to last day there. Was reported on day 2. Didnt seem like the sexy pool "party" atmosphere as we've seen in past trips. Very few theme participants compared to the # of guest every night at PatyO's. Too many young guys who seemed like they have never been out of the house. Never seen that many on any trip. Didnt cause us any trouble directly, but a group of 20 something year old single guys from Scotland kept the security staff running from daylight til daylight. Personally heard the head of security threaten to kick 2 of them out....again. Seems to be becoming more and more. Like us all, they can go where they like, but IMO, it changes the "vibe". OFFER FREE WIFI FOR EVERYONE!!!!!! GEEZUS!!! ITS 2015!!!!!!!!! Im sure we will go back for trip 6, but it only because of our friends. We can, and do party with anyone, but the atmosphere does seem to be shifting to a "younger" crowd. At least our last 2 trips anyway. Not a takeover or anything like that. Just lots more. If we were only 25 again...lol Thanks to all of our TTR friends for another great week!
Nice TR!!! :headbanger::headbanger: Hopefully the young groups will be somewhat gone by May! Not against them but i'm reading a lot of bad reports about them...:icon_rolleyes::icon_rolleyes:
We felt the same way about the shifting demographics. Hopefully these were just some left over Spring Breakers and October will be more age appropriate.
It wouldn't break my heart to see the minimum age raised to 25. I know this topic has come up previously but it would help to cut down on this kind of behavior and effectively eliminate the spring break demographic. It's not like there aren't a bazillion other hotels that cater to that crowd. From personal experience, my friends and I did a lot of growing up between 21 and 25. And, given how much those guys must eat and drink and the amount of damage they likely cause, I can't imaging that TTR is making that much money off of them.
Thanks for the report. Hopefully it is just an aberation with all the young dudes. Anyway, your next trip will be better. We have never been in late September, but this year might be a first. If the vibe leaves, so will the repeaters. We all wish, TTR would just listen.
