    Hi Everyone,

I am a 3-4 month lurker, recently joined as the trip now for my group is May 3-7. One of our best friends is getting married on Memorial Day this weekend so we are hoping to make this a memorable trip. I apologize for the length of this post- but your tips and suggestions will be highly valued and appreciated as I know many of you are regulars in Cancun and TTR.

Prior to joining over the course of the last few months I've scoured the forum and read reviews from previous posts of whether TTR is a good location for a bachelor party. Well at this point my group is locked in and looking forward to enjoying everything, but I wanted to just get an idea for atmosphere day time/ night time (do people venture off to clubs/lounges outside the resort- or is there plenty to do on site?

Also for ten guys, while we are all now around 27-29-and not going to drink ourselves into a stupor, how lenient is security with people just having fun poolside / around the hotel? I just want to set the expectations for my group to behave accordingly.

I hear the pool area is a lot of fun- what sort of expectations should I have? Will I have an area to lounge and unwind - and another area to do all the fun activities?

Secondly,I see posts about the Boobs Cruise - is this a MUST do? What other things are musts while at TTR?

While most of my friends are in relationships, we still would love to have other single woman there to do fun activities with our bachelor and sign his blow up stuffed animal he will be carrying around and have for a life time. It appears most of the guests at TTR appear to couples, is this a correct assumption?

Are there any Cinco De Mayo related activities going on at TTR?

My friends wanted to do a guys day fishing activity somewhere, is there one around the area?

Anything else worth noting that we should be aware of?

    Thanks so much!!

Why any bachelor party would go to temptations is beyond me but whatever. You will NOT be allowed (or welcome) on a Boobs Cruise. If you are not trolling, then yes, people will probably sign your blow up animal and whatnot. Again if you are already pot committed have fun and try to keep the car in between the lines so to speak.

Ok...I'll bite...We'll be there during your stay. Plenty of singles go to Temptation and have a great time and fit in perfectly. Some people have had negative experiences with groups of guys the size of yours. That's not your fault, and you'll be able to have a good time as long as you're aware that the resort is mostly couples. If I had friends who were planning a bachelor party, I'd probably not recommend Temptation as the best destination. You'd probably enjoy the club scene at night...I would if I was with a group of guys. Steve will not permit large groups of guys on his Boobs Cruise...it's just not the dynamic that people are looking for. Cinco de Mayo is celebrated more at home than it is in Mexico. You have some fishing options...use the search feature on the forum and see what others have suggested. Have fun, but please be aware that unwanted advances on other guys wives and girlfriends will be sure trouble...but that should go without saying. Have fun and be cool and you'll be fine.

Hi- This was my concern when our group was looking at this resort. I wasn't too familiar with what the Boobs Cruise really is, hence my inquiry with this post. Is the resort primarily for couples?

And no definitely wouldn't be trolling with it, just wanting to have a good time with good friends.

    Thank you for the input

Thank you for the feedback/ input as I greatly appreciate it. I haven't ever explored the Cancun club scene, I just want to be safe amongst everything. I think the majority of my group is in a commited relationship outside of me, and it does go without saying that I plan on behaving accordingly. I can understand why people would have issues with groups of guys are size-but also hope with great optimism my group will have a good time and behave accordingly.

What is the pool scene like day time?

    May I just say......

    Welcome :flash::flash::flash:

    lol

(As I started reading the post, my husband said "Oh boy...you're excited now, aren't you?" What can I say? He knows if I wasn't married, I'd be a cougar lol And that I mostly just like to quality check - you'll have to ask me about that in person, if you really want to know what that is...but it would likely be approved for even the men that are in relationships.)

You won't really have to worry about single versus married women as long as you guys don't act like buffoons and you are polite and acknowledge/greet husbands, etc.

However, I do have to say, I'm confused how someone that has allegedly been reading the forums could have POSSIBLY missed the "Single Guys" threads that are discussed ad nauseum.

But, again, if you are legit and are truly out to just have a good time while there, I again say...

Sexy games run by the entertainment staff, topless women, people making friends and drinking - spring break for adults. Which is what I'm assuming was the drawing factor for booking such a place?? Again, as much as my optimist side wants there to be a group of 10 cute 27-29 year olds to ooggle at during some of my stay, I'm still confused as to how you booked a sold out resort without knowing any of these things since all are discussed on this forum on a daily basis.

From his purely "guy from CA" standpoint, my husband has added "Vegas, baby!!!!" :)

Watch out--groups of single guys are pretty controversial at Temptation. Like others said, some of your predecessors have behaved pretty badly, and this makes some of us skeptical.

The majority of people at TTR are couples. The majority of single people are male. You may find some groups of single women, but you really can't count on it.

Things that are don'ts: throwing a football around the pool, yelling through the halls when you get back from the bars, making rude comments about women who may not fit the traditional definition of beauty who are kicking back and going topless or wearing revealing outfits, touching anyone without permission, being rude to staff, trying to out-yell your buddies, and fighting (yes, these are all things that have happened...not always just by single guys, either.)

Dos: The resort offers a booze cruise that you guys would be welcome on, and you can find lots of fishing outfits on TripAdvisor. Clubs in Cancun are world famous. The resort staff organizes a group to go to a different one every night. Coco Bongo and Mandala are good. Ziplining or an ATV trip in the jungle might be fun. You'll find lots of friendly people who will help you make your friend's bachelor party memorable as long as you are respectful and friendly.

I believe our friends cousin who heard great things about the hotel saw the fun pool scene as the selling point. To be honest my biggest concerns outside of it being couples only were the hotel accommodations/rooms because I read so many bad trip advisor reviews.

I had my hesitations and expressed them initially but half the group had already purchased the groupon for Temptations. I purchased through Amex travel and got a pretty great last minute travel as well.

I guess I should have registered and posted this MUCH MUCH earlier.

Is your husband is referring that we should have gone to Vegas? We wanted to do something atypical as our bachelor specifically noted he did not want to do Vegas and to surprise him.

    Thank you for the feedback!!!!
