Hello Everyone, planning our 2nd trip back to TTR (we were just there in mid Dec)...and can't wait any longer to go back! We are hooked..great place, great people and this forum is fantastic...many thanks Steve for making it happen. Anyways I have a few questions regarding August...anyone able to share what the weather is like in mid August? Any "regular" cancare type folks heading there in mid August? I have heard it is smack dab in the middle of huricane season...any concern from previous visit for anyone? Thanks in advance and have a great day! :beer4:
We were just there this past August for our second time and had no problems with weather what so ever!! We had a sun shower for about 10 mintues 2 different days but thats it. As for the heat, yeah its hot, but I honestly didnt feel much difference from when I was there in April the year before. Granted I plant myself in the sexy pool, which could use some ice cubes in it this time of year, sip my drinks and have a blast. There was a great group of people there with us and we are traveling back with them this year. We will be there July 28th to Aug 2nd...so maybe we will c you all there!!
We've been in August before and wouldn't think twice about doing it again. Sure it is hot but it still beats the humid days of summer in Toronto. The days are long and the water is going to be warm!
We were there at the end of August last year . The weather was next to perfect. We plan on going again this year at the beginning of August. We find it a great time of year to go. :sunny::sunny::sunny:
