August Boobs Cruise Dates Announcement

We're planning to run cruises on the following dates in August 2015, and a final date for July. September dates will be announced at the end of July.

Friday 31st July - deposits open here
Tuesday 4th August - deposits open here
Tuesday 11th August - deposits open here
Monday 17th August - deposits open here
Saturday 22nd August - deposits open here
Thursday 27th August - deposits open here


Each cruise will open up for deposits one month before. We always aim to open at 1pm Cancun time.

Each time a cruise opens a sign up thread will be posted and I'll link to it from here and from the relevant monthly roll call. Each cruise will need 25 deposits paid to reach confirmed status, and the maximum for each cruise is 95. If we don't reach confirmed status one week before the proposed date, then all deposits are refunded and the cruise is cancelled.

Rationale for chosen dates:

As usual, August is one of our quieter months, fairly low numbers throughout the month with a small peak around the 4th.

For the first week we only have around 40 people maximum on any one day, 2nd week is around 25, 3rd week 30 -35 and the last week less than 20.

Therefore since we need 25 minimum to run we wont be running as often as other months and dates are spread fairly evenly. I'm hoping that more people come along in the next month or so to boost the numbers.

I assess the numbers from the roll calls and various other threads and they don't take account of:

- people who didn't add their dates to the roll call
- new people who join between now and the cruise date
- people who want to do more than one cruise
- couples who are also bringing friends (have been counted as two)
- folks staying at other hotels in Cancun
- people who predominantly hang out at the Cancuncare/TTR Facebook group
- people who book via our cancunboobsruise.com website
- email requests from people who don't publicly post anywhere.

So, it follows that my figures are probably a large underestimate of the actual number of people who will be in Cancun that have a connection with cancuncare in one way or another.

Lets see how interest in the dates above go, we may have to make tweaks as time progresses depending on interest and feedback.
