CCC members sometimes choose to do a different theme than the resort on any given night, or add something on to the resort theme (like adding glow sticks to white night). Up until this spring, the resort had White Night on Fridays. Now the resort has changed it to Toga Night, which wasn't getting much participation back in April when it was new...may have caught on since then. So on Fridays you can either wear a toga, or just wear white streetclothes. Have a great trip, newbies!
Thanks for the info Karen. It has been a couple of years since our last visit there. Does the CCC group meet or gather at a particular spot for the theme night, or just go to Nice Shoes and meet whoever is there? Thanks, Der and Urs
In my experience, people all just trickle down to Paty-O's as we do any other night (unless there is an evening show in Nice Shoes first). People have dinner reservations at all different times, which makes it a challenge to meet up at a certain time. But the CCC group you are there with may organize a meeting place. Sorry to accuse you of being newbies lol
I will be posting an update to the August theme nights for the last two weeks of August under the thread titled "August theme nights" listing everyone that has posted to the forum which nights they are participating in. I'm having trouble with the HTML code right now but hope to get that sorted out soon so you will see a posting with every day of the month, and who's doing which nights. It's fine that you started a new thread, but please use the above thread to participate so that everyone can have the benefit of seeing your posts, as that is a highly viewed thread.
