I got this today, Dear RCI Points Member, We are attorneys suing RCI on behalf of 9 current and former members of the RCI Points Program. Like you, they originated or extended their RCI Points memberships while vacationing at a Blue Bay resort in Mexico. Our clients are suing RCI for misleading practices in the sale of Blue Bay nights/RCI points, and for imposing a 60,000 cap on redemptions of points for Partner Inventory. Our clients intend to seek relief on behalf of a class of all current or former RCI Points/Blue Bay members. This lawsuit is different from the one about which you may recently have received notice called Glenz v. RCI. Your name was among those provided to us in the litigation who may be a member of the class. We hope that you will provide some information. We would like to know: (1) How much did you pay for your package of nights? And (2) How many nights do you have remaining to exchange? (If you cancelled your membership, how many nights did you have left at the time of cancellation?) We would greatly appreciate your replying to this email with that information. If you would like to speak with one of us about the litigation or if you have other information you think might assist the case, please don’t hesitate to call. Best regards, Jenelle Welling at Bramson, Plutzik, Mahler & Birkhaeuser LLP 925-945-0200 David Berman at David C. Berman PC 973-631-1000
