Hey Guys We will be arriving at temptations tomorrow for our first trip. I was curious if there are any secure atms real close to the resort? If not where do you best recommend to get pesos? Excited to party with yall
There's an ATM with pesos next door. I've been there multiple times no issues. The one in the store has usd and the fees are high. I can't remember if the one across the street has pesos, but the one outside the store next door is closer
Don't use the one in the gift shop, or any 'private' ATM. Always use a bank ATM. Turn left out of the hotel, same side of the street, cross the parking lot to the convenience store. On the reverse side of the store is a bank ATM that dispenses both Pesos and USD. Another tip, if the machine asks do you accept the exchange rate, click No. Otherwise, they will charge you a worse rate than your bank offers when they make the exchange.
There is one on the other side of the street just behind the pharmacy. It looked like a Bank. I think it has Pesos and US Dollars.
