In a couple months my girl and I will be arriving at 10am and then at the end of the trip, leaving at 5pm. Will the resort let us use the place before the check-in time, and then let us stay after the check-out time?
You can check in around 11 but your room may not be ready until 3, or 4 or 5pm . You have to check out by 10 or 11, can ask for a later checkout, we did 1pm once but you need a couple hours for airport trip and customs so problem need to leave by 1pm for a 5pm flight.
Return flight is at 9pm. Planned to leave resort around 5pm. Details don't matter though, thank you for your response. Much appreciated!
Yes and yes. On our last visit (just last month), we arrived shortly after 12p. The room wasn't ready, but we totally expected this. We left our baggage with the bellboys and had a beach bag ready with essentials (sunscreen, hats, flip flops, sunglasses, tip money; I had my swimsuit on underneath my plain clothes) We were given the wristbands and able to eat, drink, play and frolic as we wished. We headed back to the front desk around 3p and the room was all set. Similarly, our departing flight was at 4p. We checked out around 10a. They removed the wristbands, but gave us a small slip of paper which allowed us to eat, drink, play and frolic until it was time to get into the taxi/shuttle. No one really asked to see the slip of paper, but we had to have it handy, just in case. I know you said your flight is later, but I still think they will let you stay and use the property.
Same as what others have written. We do this nearly every trip. Flights from denver get us to resort around noon, and we leave the resort around 3pm. Leave luggage with bell desk both ways (but don't lose your claim ticket!, which happened to us the last time... not a huge hassle, but needed to get the same person who checked us out to help locate luggage in the storage room), continue to enjoy the resort as usual. I've even seen people still in the pool on their last day, after giving up their bracelet (and hence room).
We have flown in the day before on two different trips and stayed at a hotel for the first night. We got up took a cab to the resort and was there before 9:00 am and didn't have any problem. Like others have said they give you a bracelet and tell you your room will be ready at 3:00 pm. We were there a few weeks ago and partied all week with a couple that was staying at a different resort after their Temptation stay. They checked out at 11:00 and said they wasn't going to leave until security kicked the out. lol. The last I saw them they were in the hot tub at 7:00 when security was shutting down the hot tub. I never saw them after that so I don't know how late they managed to stay. Just pack all you pool stuff so its easy to get out.
