There was a lot of army activity and video taping happening on the beach in front of the Royal today. Later in the afternoon there was an incredibly loud Russian built MH-17 flying very noisy and annoying circles centered on KM 14. Those things scare the hell out of me. They were death traps in Afghanisatn when the Russians were there. I would hope that later production units are a little better, but I still don't want them flying over my house.

Anyhow, I looket at the papers tonight, but can't find anything about it. Does anyone know what was going on?

Apparently, PROFEPA Reps returned to "remove" the beach closure signs based on an earlier court order with 20 or so Mexican Marines in tow for security to the beach front of the Gran Caribe. The signs in place due to the illegal breakwater constructed at the hotel to protect the beach and hotels sea walls from storm surges.

While there, the PROFEPA Reps noted additional violations to regulations.
