We are trying to plan our 26th anniversary trip, and after making Cancun our yearly destination, we are wondering if we will be able to find a place where we can recapture the calm, clear waters, and soft sand beach of our trips prior to wilma. Is there any chance that still exists somewhere.
I was just looking at the beach from Forum Mall to about the Cancun Caribe Park Royal Grand Hotel (formerly Hyatt) earlier this morning and it looks really good. Some of it depends on currents at this time of year.
I agree with Tracey, behind the Ambiance Villas and Intercontinental is a beautiful stretch of beach. You might also check out Puerto Morelos just a little south of Cancun.
