So I’ve been once since the Renovations which I still enjoyed as always... I like alot of the changes although missed the Smaller Sexy Pool and Paty’O’s but that’s just the nostalgic side of me not wanting change... But in recent weeks I’ve seen some Posts of incidents that have happened with Bachelor or Stag Parties as we call them in the UK... And quite alot of negativity around the Single Guy and that it should be Couples Only etc... I’m totally over that Argument as for me that’s what the Desire Resorts cater for and I’ve always loved the mix of singles/couples of all age groups at Temptation and the atmosphere it creates but I’m now wondering is... The Single Guy still Welcome at TTR or is it becoming more couples since the Renovations ? I’ll not lie the new Resort has gone a bit out of my Budget and it’s now upto £1000 more for me now going Solo than it was going before the Remodel but I’m still hopeful of maybe getting for 10 Nights at the end of November instead of my usual 2 Week Holiday there... But I’m wondering if it’ll still be as fun for me going as a single guy as it has in the past now there’s been a bit more negativity towards single guys...
Single, single guys are still more than welcome. Packs of single guys, they're the ones that seem to be bothersome, both then & now.
We have been 3 times since the reopening. Now of course each week is different. However, we experienced way less packs of single guys at the new TTR than the old TTR. So if anything we believe there are less, not more, packs. Now of course all you need is 1 bad pack to effect your trip I guess. But they are easily avoidable. I would not let someone else’s poor luck re some recent negative reports dissuade you from going to TTR.
Thanks Nathan yeah was staring to worry a bit with some of the Posts I’d been reading and people turning on Single Guys a bit so thought it might be going more coupley since I last went... Not 100% definite for November but hope to see you there buddy... @bearhug

Pretty simple..........most all start out as very welcome...................some very quickly become unwelcome. Kinda like sushi...........some deliciously good......some horrid!
It has seemed my last couple of trips that it is a little more couple centric. I figure it is due to higher prices leaving out some solo travelers Still had great times
Yeah I’ve had to go searching for a Roomie to split the cost now as it seems they are hitting Solo Traveller more and trying to encourage more couples I think...
