Hey everyone, we are booked for 10 days April 8-18, been to TT, was awesome, just looking for almost the same spice, just a little quieter, hope we did right, anyone else??
Funny, we booked our airfare last night for almost the same days! We really enjoyed it last year and are members of TTR also.
8th to the 15th, can’t wait, first time. Not sure what to expect with all the negative reviews. We booked the Sian Ka’an suite and hoping it was worth the $400 upgrade.
My wife and I stayed in the San Kian last year and it was awesome. We are booked again this year in June. We have also been to TTR. Probably won't go back
It is NOT TTR. It is a 3* resort, not a 5* resort, as some travel agents advertise. If you go with that in mind and temper expectations, you'll have a great time. I don't think the Sian Ka'an upgrade is worth it, and I think they charge a ridiculous amount of money for very little in return in regards to "upgrading". YMMV
Our upgrade was around $400 total Canadian for the week. I thought it was a good deal...we will find out...cheers
