We booked our trip thru redtag back at the beginning of january. Company we are flying with is sunwing. We were supposed to leave toronto on April 17th. Redtag just called us to say sunwing no longer has flights leaving on tuesdays and they don't know if we can leave on the sunday or monday of that week. Can't believe this is happening and wondering if anyone else is now in the same situation?

OH NO! That really sucks. I am on Sunwing from Vancouver...have not heard of any changes to my trip. But I can tell you that Sunwing is just about the world's shittiest airline to travel with. Their customer service is zero if anything goes wrong with your trip. They do not give a rip about their customers, just their customers' money. I will be trying to avoid Sunwing like the plague in the future, but it's difficult because they do most of the packages out of Vancouver.

I sure hope you guys get this sorted out and can fly down on the Sunday or Monday, or at least by Wednesday so you can make the cruise on the 19th.

You bought the vacation and they have an obligation to get you there one way or another - is how I see it.

I have bought airfare before where they inform me at the airport that the flight is not available - but they still got me to my destination... it took a hell of a lot longer... I saw the entire continent that day... twice!

I would really be leaning on them to tell them, that it is fine if the intended flight is not available.. so long as they find another route there on another airline, on the same travel days. Lean, and lean hard. They already have your money.

We are booked on that very same flight, we haven't received a call but know that's it's through Thomas Cook and run by Sunwing...we actually pre booked our seats today so we believe the flight is still on. You should call them again, everything seems fine for us and our group of about 15 that are on the same flight as well!

We just got off the phone with Sell Off and our flight was changed. We now leave on the 17th instead of the 16th with no change to our return flightA! So we get to miss a day of our vacation! Thanks that's awesome.:angrymad:

I refuse to book with Air Canada. Seems like they are always on strike or otherwise messing with peoples' hard-earned vacations.
