What do you think about these new iPhones? will you get one? I won't...simply because I don't use the internet at all on my cell phone where we live now. I could see some uses for it for some people...but to wait in line before dawn to get one...nahh.... look at this article: Associated Press - June 29, 2007 10:33 AM ET PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Among those waiting outside a downtown Philadelphia store for Apple's new iPhone today is none other than the mayor. It might seem odd for the mayor of a major city to be spend his day waiting in line, but Mayor John Street says he can handle things just fine. He says he can deal with a lot of things by phone. And the store is just steps from City Hall, so assistants can bring over any paperwork he needs to deal with. Street says he has been in front of the AT & T store since well before dawn today, but he says he's not going to spend the entire day there. He says he needs to leave a couple of times for appearances he has scheduled today. He says he will have someone else sit in his chair while he's gone to hold his place in line.
Not available in Canada ... yet. Couldn't believe the line-ups outside stores to buy one today. Did you see the one guy that had the bucket of cheese balls?!? :lol:
whats funny, is I have a xv6700 pocket PC phone from verizon, internet, all that stuff! However, I downloaded this software when I got my phone, same software as the iphone, so it looks, acts, and does everything EXACTLY the same as the iphone, pretty funny actually! I have had it for about a month now, those people are idiots!
My phone is MUCH better too Nokia N95...probably the best phone on earth....internet, games all that jazz a 5 megapixel camera, gps satelite navigation and so on....
