On our first trip to TTR we met a nice young bartender who worked at the quiet pool all week. His name was Oliver(Tall slim young fella). On our second trip to TTR he was always working at the Paddy O bar. We were suprised that after a whole year he remembered BOTH our names and what we drank! Incredible!!! He worked so hard, was very good at taking care of us. When we asked about his schedule we were shocked how many hours and long days he put in. Some nights they asked him to stay over at the resort rather than drive home to his gir and daughter. Hoping he is still there this year. If anyone has seen him give a shout out as to where he was working. Thnx!
We met Oliver on our 1st trip somewhere around 2002 and Suz has adopted him as our Mexican son. She even named her dog after him. He was still at Paty'O's when we left in October. We hope he is still there in another month when we return. He is our favorite with many others there a close second.
He was there 3-10 - 3-15 He does get moved to other resorts from time to time. How many bartenders throw you their car keys and insist you take his car instead of the bus.. (bad idea we got lost, but fun anyway) Oliver is our adopted bartender, we want to hire him for our bar in WI Island Bar & Grill
He was there 2 weeks ago. a few different bars on the resort but he was there. For a while he was working the bar at the buffet even
Loves my Oliver........gave me my first komakazie and not only does he remember my face he remember body parts too.
I've met both.. and as much as I love dogs... I think the one in Cancun is better looking.... :wink3: Jamie
oliver is definetley the greatest. The trip is not complete until you have met some great friends and great staff.
