Hello! I've been here 3 months and am still attempting to meet others. I've joined a few groups with some success but would like to do more. Am seeking people for socializing, dog walking, coffee / brunches, pub nights, etc. Anyone?? Is there any sort of 'regular' meeting, be it day or night, that one might join in on? There is a group of English speaking regulars who meet at La Taberna on Yaxchilan, in the smoking area (yuck) nearly every Friday night, starting around 7:30 pm. People come and go throughout the night. I have arrived after 1 am and still found some regulars. Just walk in the smoking room and look for funny looking people or start asking around for Scott's table. Impossible not to find the group.

I was going to head over last night but after reading about the smoking room and having people describe to me in person how terrible it is, it just wasn't in me last night to go...but I will DEFINITELY make the effort next week.
